A product of St. Andrews, Jake Galea was transferred to Hamrun Spartans in the summer of 2017. However, the subsequent season saw him make a move to Sliema Wanderers, where he spent a fruitful three-year stint. Galea donned the Balzan jersey for the 2021/22 season, amassing 13 appearances for the Reds before departing in June 2022.
In the summer of 2022, Jake took a significant step by relocating to Luxembourg to join Etzella Ettelbruck, thereby becoming the first Maltese player to ply his trade in Luxembourg.
Galea is a proud member of the Malta national team, marking his international debut on 7 October 2020 in a friendly match against Gibraltar.
This accomplished Maltese goalkeeper, who also featured for St. Andrews and Sliema Wanderers, embarked on a new chapter in his career by signing with Valletta FC in July 2023.
