Financial Statements 2020

Valletta Football Club held its EGM to present its club annual financial reports in conformity with
MFA Regulations on Tuesday 13th April 2021.

In light of the persisting global pandemic, it was not possible for the meeting to be held physically for
the second year in a row, hence an online forum was created specifically for this purpose. This was
done because the Club wants the members to still be informed and updated about these important
matters. It must be said that the concept was very well received by the club members whereby
interventions, questions and clarifications were regularly entertained.

A thorough presentation of the financial statements and the statute amendments proposed were
presented by club’s Honorary Treasurer Roderick Axisa. These were followed by a Q&A session with
those members participating online, which ranged between 150 and 200 members throughout the
meeting.

The EGM resolved voted and decided on the following matters:

1) The Financial Statements for year ending 31st December 2020 were unanimously approved;
2) The proposed amendments to the statute (as a result of the Club’s successful enrolment
with the Commission for Voluntary Organisations) were also unanimously approved; and
3) Darmanin Cauchi & Co (DACA Accountants, Vjal Kottoner, Fgura FGR 1382, Malta) were
confirmed as the Club’s auditors.
