Valletta FC Official website – Celebrating the 10th Anniversary

2012 marks the 10th Anniversary of Valletta FC official website.
It all started way back in 2002, after the club won all the silverware in the previous season. The Valletta Supporters Club came up with the idea of building an official website for the club.
Several meetings with the Committee were held and after exchanging ideas and designs, the final design was chosen. The Committee decided that the club’s website should contain information about the club, players, history, news and also a merchandise section.
The concept of the Valletta F.C. website was borne to keep the supporters informed and updated about VFC news. The website also features a match preview as well as after match comments.
The official website had various facelifts performed throughout the years. The first overall change on the website took place in April 2010. The website now features more information including a hall of fame section, archived galleries and also a new online payment system for the merchandise section. A video clip feature was introduced and each week viewers can see exclusive interviews and features.
The Valletta F.C. website won the Best Club website award three times in the Replay Gala Night in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The website was revamped once more in April 2012, featuring an in-depth journey through the history and honours of the Valletta Football Club and also a new live score update module. The site also links to social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter and You Tube.
