Newly signed Raimi Bakere opened the score for Valletta, while Obinna Obiefule levelled the score for Hibernians through a penalty. Trialist Elford Lateef scored the second goal for Valletta, Denni Dos Santos scored twice while Luke Montebello scored the fifth goal for the Citizens through a header.
Valletta will face Sliema Wanderers in the final of the Gozo Cup next Sunday kick-off 17:00hrs at the Gozo Stadium.
