Top Scorers
Throughout the years there were many players who ended the season as the best scorers in the championship. Danilo Doncic's record of 32 goals in season 1996/97 is one of the finest in the Premier League, and obviously amongst the best players as the best scorers of the Maltese championship we find Salvinu Schembri, Emanuel Pace (il-Pesa), Mario Azzopardi, Frankie Zammit, Alfred Borg (il-Wannies), Tony Giglio, Nardu Farrugia, Gilbert Agius and Joe Zarb who was one of the best and unique scorers of the Maltese Championship.
Joe Zarb finished as the best scorer of the Championship for three consecutive years. These are all the Top Scorers.
