Yannick Yankam, began his career at Qormi before moving to Birkirkara in 2019, where he made over 100 appearances.
In early 2024, he joined Lexington SC in the American USL League One, becoming the first active UEFA international to play in the league.
During his time in the US, he made 17 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists, earning multiple Team of the Week honours.
At an international level, Yankam made his debut for Malta in March 2023, scoring in a UEFA European Championship qualifier against North Macedonia. He has since earned 14 caps.
