Timothy Aquilina, born on June 12, 1998, began his career with Sliema Wanderers’ U19 team in 2015. He moved to Senglea Athletic in January 2017 and then returned to Sliema Wanderers a year later. In July 2019, Aquilina joined Gudja United, where he gained further experience before transferring to Santa Lucia in January 2020. By July 2020, he was back with Sliema Wanderers.
Renowned for his shot-stopping and game awareness, Aquilina has been a key goalkeeper across his club stints. He joined Valletta FC in August 2024, continuing his contributions to Maltese football.
