Peter Xuereb, born on May 7, 1992, spent a large portion of his career with Sliema Wanderers, where he became a reliable figure in both playmaking and defensive roles on the field. Between 2014 and 2020, he made close to 70 appearances for Sliema Wanderers, scoring a few goals and contributing significantly to the team’s overall play. During the 2015-2016 season, he helped Sliema secure the FA Trophy, marking a key achievement in his career.
Following his time with Sliema Wanderers, Xuereb had a brief period at Mosta FC before joining Marsaxlokk FC. At Marsaxlokk, he continued to be a pivotal midfielder, featuring in 20 games throughout the 2022-2023 season. In August 2023, Xuereb signed with Tarxien Rainbows, where he continued to display his versatility and experience on the pitch.
In August 2024, Xuereb joined Valletta FC, bringing his expertise and midfield reliability to another top Maltese club as he continues to make an impact in the league.
