Mattias Ellul is seen as one of the most promising defenders in Maltese football and last season formed part of the Ħamrun Spartans squad.
Ellul came through the youth ranks of Luxol St Andrews and in 2023 decided to join Santa Lucia.
Last summer, Ellul joined Ħamrun Spartans, where he was a regular member of the team as he not only played a key part in their European adventure in the Champions League and the Conference but was instrumental in the Opening Round.
Here, Ellul managed to collect 11 appearances and provided one assist.
At the end of the season, the 20-year-old decided to leave the Spartans and seek more regular football with another Premier League club.
