William Barbosa Valletta FC Footballer of the Year

William Barbosa was voted as Valletta FC best player of the year for the second consecutive season by the fans’ voting. Voting was done by Valletta fans on the club’s Official Forum after each game played including the BOV Premier and the U*Bet FA Trophy.
During his second season with Valletta, William Barbosa received 427 of the votes, Denni Dos Santos received 349 votes and Joao Gabriel Da Silva received 315 votes.
The Player of the Year award will be presented to William Barbosa in July during an event organized by the Valletta Supporters Club.
William Barbosa regarded as one of the best foreign players in the Premier League signed his first professional contract in Brazil when I was only 14. Durinh his career he played in Brazil, Germany, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and Italy.
During the last two seasons, William Barbosa played a total of 54 games and scored 16 goals. Last week he ended his two year stint with Valletta FC and joined First Division side St. Andrews as player-coach. Good Luck WILLIE…
