Valletta vs Mgarr U

Valletta FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Mgarr United in the Malta Challenge League.

Valletta took control early, opening the scoring in the 28th minute through Keyon Ewurum, who found the net with a composed finish. The Citizens doubled their advantage just eight minutes later when Paul Lapira struck in the 36th minute, putting Valletta in a commanding position at halftime.

Mgarr United came out stronger after the break and managed to reduce the deficit in the 65th minute with a goal from Saint Ebisindor Christian, reigniting hopes of a comeback. Valletta had the chance to restore their two-goal cushion, but Andrei Ciolacu failed to convert a penalty, leaving the match finely balanced until the final whistle.
