Njongo Priso set to join AEK Larnaca
Cameroon midfielder Njongo Priso yesterday left Malta to a new destination - Cyprus.Priso will be joining AEK Larnaca on a one-year loan.
Dutch coach Ton Caanen and assistant coach Jordi Cruyff showed great interest in signing Priso. An agreement between Valletta and AEK Larnaca has been set which sees the Cameroon midfielder move to Cyprus on loan.
Priso admitted that the strong interest shown in him by Ton Caanen and Jordi Cruyff influenced his decision to test himself in another country.
Valletta already engaged Omonigho Temile, brother of star player Frank Temile as a substitute for Njongo Priso.
Njongo Priso joined the Citizens in 2008.
