Valletta vs Swieqi United

Valletta FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Swieqi United FC, coming from behind to claim all three points.

Swieqi United struck first in the 36th minute when Terence Vella found the back of the net with a well-placed finish, capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Valletta. The goal gave Swieqi United the lead going into halftime, with Valletta struggling to create clear-cut opportunities.

The game turned in Valletta’s favour in the 70th minute when Andrei Ciolacu converted a penalty after Swieqi conceded a foul inside the box. This goal rejuvenated the Valletta side, who pressed hard for the winner.
