BOV Challenge Cup: Valletta 3 Zurrieq 2

Valletta FC booked their place in the Malta Challenge Cup final with a dramatic 3–2 win over Zurrieq FC on earlier today at the Centenary Stadium.

Jefferson Ferreira gave Valletta an early lead in the 9th minute, but Zurrieq responded midway through the first half, equalising in the 25th minute through Chibueze Glamour Eziefula following a corner. Zurrieq went ahead just before the break, as Sulahmana Mamadu Bah converted a penalty in the 43rd minute.

Valletta pushed for a late equaliser and found it in the 83rd minute through Jacob Walker. The Citizens sealed the victory in the 94th minute when Enoch Mushagalusa found the net, sending Valletta through to the final in thrilling fashion.
