UEFA Youth League: Auxerre defeat Valletta 5-0

Valletta lost 5-0 to AJ Auxerre of France in the first leg of the UEFA Youth League domestic champions path round two at the Stade Abbé-Deschamps in Auxerre on Wednesday.
As expected, Auxerre, who placed second behind champions PSG in the Championnat National U19 proved to be a very strong side for the Citizens who had eliminated Honka of Finland in the first round.
Elykia Legros put Auxerre ahead on 24 minutes and Zaid Seha doubled the score on 34 minutes. Three minutes later, Guillaume Balzanet made it 3-0. Legros added another on 61 minutes with Balzanet converting a penalty for Auxerre’s fifth goal on 75 minutes.
