Denni Rocha dos Santos was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 21, 1983. 

Denni started his career with Esporte Clube Santo André in Brazil.  During 2003 to 2006, he was on loan with São Caetano in Brazil, Montedio Yamagata in Japan, Ituano Futebol Clube in Brazil and Tijuana in Mexico. At the end of 2006 he returned back with Santo André. In 2006 Denni, had also a short spell with RC Strasbourg in France.

In 2007 Denni moved to Australia and joined Newcastle United Jets FC, making twenty appearances and scoring one goal. He was released by Newcastle at the end of 2008 after finishing the season as champions

Dos Santos made his debut in the Maltese Premier League with Tarxien Rainbows on January 25, 2009 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, in a match against Hamrun Spartans.

During season 2008-09, he played in nine matches and scored three goals. 
In season 2009-10, he was voted player of the match on nine matches, scoring 15 goals in 27 matches.

Denni Rocha dos Santos signed a four year contract with Valletta FC in July 2010.

After four successful years with Valletta between 2010 and 2014, helping them to win three league titles and a FA Trophy. Denni left Valletta in the summer of 2014 and joined  Hibernians in 2015.
Denni failed to leave his mark with the Paolites and in January 2016 signed for Sliema Wanderers with whom he won a FA Trophy the following May.
Denni signed a one-year contract with Valletta F.C. in July 2017.
